In coaching women on mindfully cultivating their leadership, I’ve distilled three main factors that can make this journey empowering, fulfilling and joyful.
These three main power sources can change the quality of our leadership. They determine whether we burnout as we share our gifts with the world or we remain whole, healthy and powerful.
The power sources we assess together are:
Where are you spending your time?
How are your personal energy levels?
Does your mindset support your vision and mission?
Interestingly each power source bleeds into and informs the other which is why an assessment of each is so important for mindful leadership.
Here’s an example:
Let’s say someone has a fear of being seen, which is a mindset issue (I guarantee, for deeply feeling women leaders, being seen is a very real challenge)
The fear can paralyze her into inaction and this lack of action results in procrastination.
Now we’re dealing with a time management issue.
When we don’t act on something we intended or promised to do, our mental and emotional energy starts to drain. We’re essentially blocking life energy from flowing through us. This can create physical and emotional challenges.
Yep, personal energy problem.
So you see how each and every piece of this this puzzle has to be carefully examined and explored?
How do you score on these three?
