Consciousness and cautiousness don’t go together.
Caution, fear, suspicion makes the idea of loss bigger than it is. In reality, nothing real or worthwhile can be ‘lost’ or taken away from us.
But we begin living like relentless guardians of ‘something important’, allowing cautiousness, suspicion, fear to prevail and dominate our psyche.
This cautiousness chips away at our vital, creative state of being. We disconnect from our natural values of trust, innocence, love and belongingness. We become listless, easily overwhelmed, unenthused by newness.
Time and energy management isn’t just about batching tasks and sleeping well. It’s about identifying all gas-guzzlers keeping us from flowing with life’s natural flow of energy.
