Meet Gaia: the most productive, creative force every woman should get acquainted with.
Gaia is the personification of the Earth. The creator and giver of birth to the planet and all of Universe. She is the great Mother.
Think about what sustains you on this planet.
The clothes you wear.
The food you eat.
The metal in your cars
The electricity in your home.
The coffee table in your living room.
The walls that give you an office space.
The fuel that flies you from New York to Amsterdam.
She makes everything. Directly or indirectly each one of us on this planet is supported, taken care of and sustained by Gaia’s ability to create and produce for our needs.
The interesting part though, is that Gaia does not hurry, or rush or stress about this big production.
She works in rhythms, cycles and seasons.
She knows she can’t be “always-on”. There are times to rest and times to produce. In the winter months, she slows down, rests, receives, restores so in the spring and summer months she can awaken, create and give.
Now, here’s the part I want you to know: as a woman, you are Gaia.
You embody all her creative, powerful, life-giving and life-creating energies.
As a woman you are simply a microcosm of Gaia’s feminine powers.
The more you sync up with your inner rhythms, cycles and seasons, (as women, we go through four distinct seasons in our day, moon cycle month, the year and lifetime) the easier it becomes for us to be create and produce easily and effortlessly.
Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished – Lao Tzu (Tweet it)
We’ve been taught a masculine way of getting things done, and it is costing us – our health, our relationships, our peace of mind. In rejecting our feminine powers, we’ve shut down a perfectly efficient system of working, creating and leading.
It’s time to reclaim this system and integrate a truly holistic way of work.
What’re your thoughts? Do you notice your inner rhythms and cycles and how they relate to work?

As a New Yorker, it’s so hard to slow down. Everything around me pushes me to spin my wheels. Puja, thank you for the reminder to use a more womanly way of getting things done, and slow down, breathe and know that I will get things done, the feminine way.

Thanks Brenda, my clients are always surprised by how much they get done after they’re rested and recuperated. Glad this resonates xo
