I’ve developed a theory about soul-mates: every human being seeks three really deep, heartfelt connections. Just thought I’d share it here 🙂

The first most obvious seeking is of the life-partner. This connection makes us feel complete, brings a sense of joy and companionship.

The others are less obvious. The second is the connection with what is technically called a career, but really what I mean is a higher, more meaningful calling. A life purpose, the role we were sent here to fulfill. This inner-calling is heart-driven and not mind-driven, it always feels right, with the knowing that we’re aligned with the universe and it often involves helping and empowering others. Some people use the word ‘service’ but I personally feel it tends to create separation and implies superiority.

The third soul connection we seek is that with our Spiritual Master. It might not even be a conscious seeking but our higher-self is on the lookout for a master who can guide us with his insights and experience. This connection is the ultimate merging of our individual, separate self with the universal oneness that is our ultimate truth. Bliss, love, silence, letting-go…. many descriptions. one experience.

Discovering each of these soul-mates will bring about unimaginable transformation. Alchemy is the word, I believe. Each of them in their own unique way will destroy who you are and create a new being out of you. And there will be only gratitude for the shift.
